Third Development’s story began in 2020 with their debut album The Thought of Tomorrow that delivers a blend of 80s infused synth and 90s inspired electronica via an ethereal 9-track journey. The album mood is introspective and exotic. It ebbs and flows between instrumental beats and atmospheric vocals from Manchester-based @kintsuku; floating between upbeat and hopeful to downtempo and thought-provoking.

Band lead Geoffrey James followed-up with two more singles in 2021, Shining On and Echoes, both featuring lead vocals from Mila Sade (Atlanta, GA). These singles represent some artist experimentation for Third Development, blending and bending genres, pushing some boundaries and keeping things unpredictable.

New single Auras celebrates the return of Kintsuku with an upbeat electronica style and an atmospheric world vibe. New guest artist Minx (U.K.) lays down a rap segment here that seamlessly melds with Kintsuku’s lead vocal. Auras offers a sexy escape for the listener and fits perfectly within the ‘Etherea’ genre that Third Development itself has coined.

Third Development has worked with talent such as Grammy-winning Mastering Engineer Emily Lazar (NYC), Mix Engineer and Producer Sara Fedi (Italy), Flutist Livia Schweizer (Helsinki, Finland), Rap Artist Minx (U.K.), Lucid Letters (U.K.) and Mila Sade (Atlanta, U.S.A.). The surreal, cosmic-inspired album artwork was designed by artist Eden Hurst from Houston, Texas.
